Man, did that freak me out. My heart went out to that kid. All I could think about was how that would be me with one of my kids. Oh man. I teared up at that thought. Just horrible. Luckily the dude is okay, cause his wife came in later to thank us and say he was okay. All I know is, good thing I am on this diet. Cause if that happened to me, like a heart attack or something, I couldn't imagine that. Putting my kids through that. Oh man. Frickin' crazy. Just alot of death going on lately. Its scary shit.
Okay, on to more positive things. Here's the scene from Barcelona last night:
U2's stage. HUGE! Crazy! I totally wish I woulda scored tickets to this show. They are coming to Chicago soon and tickets are sold out. I hope they add another US leg to the tour and I can scoop up some tickets. Been a long time since I've been to a good rock show. I think the last one was U2 or Bob Dylan, (Not counting seeing Neal Morse twice in a church, which is a tad different).
Its rare that my favorite bands can tour. I gotta go see U2 and Dream Theater soon. And I want to take the wife to a Dave Matthews Band concert too. Its on my itinerary.
Today, I bought OVER THE TOP on DVD for $5.00. Woot! (love that film. Fuck you.) and I rented GRAND TORINO. Looking forward to watching it. Doodling and making pitches for San Diego. Tonight: podcast.
