This is the line to get into the TWILIGHT panel at comic con.
Even if William Shatner, Pink Floyd and the return of Jesus Christ himself were in there, I would NEVER stand in a line that long. Fuck it, I'll hear about it on the net in an hour after it!
Why travel all the way there to stand in line all day? And some people even camped out for it! What the frick?
Well, Twilight isn't for me, so I won't get that side of it. But I'm talking about the lines here. That sucks!
Also, now that Twilight is all big now, have you noticed the rise in vampire shows? They are everywhere now! Even all the Asylum DVDs with vampires are being altered to have Rob Patterson lookalikes with pale skin on the cover. I got this stinking feeling that vampire comics will be the new trend. Like ZOMBIE and OBAMA comics for the last 4 years. Anyone with me on that?

Even though that line does look big, I'm still not convinced the "Twilight" series is taking off as big as the studios want us to think. It certainly isn't the next "Star Wars" or "Harry Potter" or "Lord of The Rings".
I have stood in a VERY long line once, but it was for the official viewing of former President Ford's casket (I think that was a 4-5hr wait). But, that really was a "special" event and not something you see often.
Point is, I'll stand in line for extremely rare events, but not for some lackluster tween-targeted second-rate film series (unless Bruce Campbell is in it - Ha!!)
