Dancing Days are here...

Been a busy week thus far. I worked on more sketch card submissions. Now I gotta do a pinup for a new Antarctic Press book. Gotta pump that out before the weekend.

Took the night off and watched the remake of HOUSE ON HAUNTED HILL (1999). It was a piece of shit. Not scary or anything. But I did appreciate Geoffry Rush's Vincent Price homage in look though. Even with its old type of hookiness, I still prefer the original. I actually had a pal of mine send me a copy of the 80's BLOB so I will watch that this weekend after I finish my shit. I also got a couple commissions to finish up. Then some work on the ANNA pages would be in order I would think.

I'm finding myself entering post-con funk. Where the realization that con season is over and I got months more to wait and work on before it happens again. This year was such an exciting one filled with tons of new cool shit, that I was on overload of awesome. And now I am finding it harder to realize that its so far away.

I have been unearthing alot of older art, comics, dvds/cds that I intend to sell on ebay pretty soon. Some good artwork lots that I think people will enjoy. I'll post here about them as soon as I put them up.

Anyway, back at the grind.

I kind of thought there were a couple "creepy" moments in the "House on Haunted Hill" remake. Mostly down in the basement, where the doctor's ghost would turn up in the camera viewfinder. And the "spinning" machine thing was claustrophobic for me. I could have used more Jeffrey Combs. But, I do still like the original better. Let me know what you think of "The Blob".
