Been busy, which is a good thing. Did a new pinup for an upcoming book from Antarctic Press called "ZOMBIE CHRISTMAS." Check it out:
Thanks again to Lee Duhig for letting me onboard the Antarctic Press train once more. Man I love that company! (you should too!)
Yesterday was nice because my 1st fanboy Jesse was in town and stopped by with his boyfriend Kevin. We spent a few hours chatting and they watched me draw on this piece above as I was on deadline to get it done. We traded some goods and caught up before the power went out for an hour here. They took off after that and it was nice to see Jesse again. We met back in 2003 at my 3rd convention appearance ever. He's been a faithful fanboy of my work ever since. He has what I call "the special Jesse discount" on all my works I release because of this dedication. He will always be my first fanboy and I am thankfull for him and all the other ones who follow me and my work. I do it all for you folks!
In other news, I finished another commission today. And I started work on the 2010 con standee. I've got the layout and am now working on coloring and digitally laying out the whole piece in time for printing around Feb/March. In fact, I think I am just gonna use my B-day money to get it printed. Or tax refund. whatever feels right. But 2010 is when I pour all my resources into getting my work in front of as many people as possible. And this standee definatly will help. I've been putting it off for far too long. Time to look GOOD at the conventions!
I hope to pencil some more ANNA pages this weekend. I'm working on coloring the cover as I type this. I got about 6-8 more pages of this first issue and then I'm putting it into the computer to color and word balloon. Thats right, I'm doing a book in color! We'll what the next step after that is.
I am also working on new prints for 2010, as well as submission pieces for card sets and companies. I'm just tossing alot of shit at the wall to see what sticks. Something will I am sure.
This week I scored some new stuff: CDs-(used) Special editions of A HARD DAYS NIGHT, RUBBER SOUL and AC/DC's BALLBREAKER. I'm not a HUGE AC/DC fan, but I remember buying that album in high school and listening to it alot. I found it cheap and it was the special edition, so I went for it. I just need to embrace the AC/DC in me I guess. Hard to deny it. Even though its a tad repetitive. DVDs I got: THE COMEDIANS OF COMEDY (An OUTSTANDING Comedy DVD/Concert with Patton Oswalt, Maria Bramford, Brian Posehn and Zach Galifinakis) and a three pack of MISSING IN ACTION 1-2-3!!! (I think I saw part 1 as a kid. Now I get to relive the magic of Chuck fuckin' Norris!)
This weekend I gotta work Saturday and otherwise next week, just plug away on pages. I hope I can maybe plow through and at least get the pages all pencilled if not somewhat inked before vacation NEXT weekend. We'll see. Wish me luck.
Cheers, T

Dude, that Comedians of Comedy stuff is a-w-e-s-o-m-e. Four nerds on the road. Almost the best parts are when Patton and Brian visit the comic book stores which usually end up in a nerd argument of something comic book related :D
It's good stuff, man!
