C-C-C-Changes....

Big Blog post today and its about changes. Good ones. Some altered plans, etc. Refining. Thats what its all about. For example, I am one week into the lifestyle change of eating and I'm down 7 pounds. I got a LONG way to go, but its a nice welcome start. The next two weeks will be the hardest for me to get through. Bare with me. But you can view my progress at my ustream channel. I will be posting weekly updates for you all. I keep my promises to you and to myself from here on out.

In other news, I am adjusting some of my comic plans. SECRET PROJECT X is in heavy production and is the largest thing I've undertaken in a long time. It will come out or "launch" likely this summer. All will be revealed when the time is right. Trust me, I'm working hard on it. It will be greatness!

ANNA POCALYPSE is at the printer right now. I should be getting the boxes of books here at the house within the next week or two. Then orders will be filled. Thanks for your patience! I got all the mailers ready and prints in all of them. Just need the books to arrive and then I will sketch away and get out to you fine folks. YAY!

The big news for now is I decided to hold off on LINGERIE PARTY MASSACRE until next year. I got a couple concerns with the story ending and also, I want to start doing comics to launch on each halloween each year if possible. So LINGERIE will be NEXT year. This year however will be the horror anthology: TALES FROM SEQUENTIAL MAYHEM. ITs a collection of me and other artist pals of mine doing comics in the EC horror style. Its a total throwback to that era and the comic will be full of fun things comics used to have in them. So look for that in October this year. Meanwhile I will continue to work on LINGERIE PARTY MASSACRE off and on till it drops next year. No worries. Its coming out. This won't be another "OUTCAST" that I'll tease and take my time on. You'll see it. Next year. Guaranteed.

BUT--- the biggest news I suppose is that I started on another project that I am completely jazzed about. I wrote the script outline a month ago off an idea I've had guestating in my head for a while now. And its a killer idea and story. Lots of great things happen in it. I just thumbnailed out the first 30 pages and its gonna be a doozy. This will be a new long form graphic novel, maybe around 120-150 pages. All full color. What is it? Well, I'll keep that secret for now. But trust me, its a great idea and the story is quite killer. You all are gonna love it. I'm really having fun with this one and making it the natural progression of what is to come next for me. Just you wait.... just you fucking wait....

Additionally, I am still putting together my artbook. I don't know if it will drop by March now. I may push it back to premiere at DALLAS CON (which I will be at BTW) in May. You can also order it online before then, likely in a pre-order. Details will come within the next month or two on it. But its soooo full of stuff that will blow your mind. Lots of history and new stuff. Old and new new new! Pieces you haven't seen before. Process stuff. Pics both personal and public. A total archive of the history of me and my work. Its gonna be great. I will show you all very soon what I got cooking.

Lastly, I am slightly considering going to DRAGON CON this year as a fan only. No set up. Just want a vacation. I read that the hotels are sold out though. So I will do some research into it to see if its something I can or want to do. So stay tuned on that.

SO--Thats the big stuff going on. Lots of exciting things for 2011. My stove needs to get bigger for all the pots I got cooking on it!!! I wish you all well and have a great week. Go out and enjoy the sunlight while it exists, and the snow comes back to rape us some more.

Cheers, T

Adam, I am an avid listener to the podcasts you frequent. Normally I would not comment on anything but I am choosing to do it this time. Like you I am an addict, I have never been a normal weight ever. Surprisingly around the same time as you I decided to do something about your weight, I chose to do something about mine. When I started this change, I was sitting at about 350 pounds or so. I will be coming to Dallas comic con in May, and I hope we can talk about all the weight we have lost. So keep it up man, and I believe by the time we meet in May we can be a few pounds lighter. I will keep the comments coming and do not give up, because I am not either, here’s to a better us. I’ll be listening.

Dude, I hope to inspire you and others by me being so open and honest and public about my problem. I also hope to show you I mean business by doing this. We're gonna rock it. And in Dallas we'll show each other that we mean business! So go forth and rock it and I'll rock it too. See ya there! (well, much less of me now will be there!)
