First Week So Far...

Well, this Tuesday marks one week at the new place. We're all fully settled in. The old place has been cleaned and keys turned in super early. Hopefully we get our full security deposit back. We sure could use the money!!! But so far the new place is great. Nice an QUIET!!! No screaming or fighting neighbors. Its almost as if no one was around us. I'm loving that. The space, is doable. We also opted for basically NO CABLE in favor of saving money so we got like, 10 channels at best. Fox Sports kept cutting in and out but I got to watch the Lions beat the Broncos pretty bad today. I watched Allen Gregory (not that good) and the new Family Guy (absolute crap! C'mon guys!!!). I'm missing the new WALKING DEAD on AMC right now. Hopefully I can watch it online somewhere in about 20 minutes. Tomorrow I hope to go check out the gym and the pool.

Mostly this week, we've been relaxing. The wife goes on overnights starting Monday and I got 3 mini day shifts as well. My boss is being very considerate of the fact that the wife has to work overnight and needs to sleep at some point. Kudos to her for that. Most people I know wouldn't think of that. Means a bit to me. Maybe I'll stick around there for a bit longer, eh? But anyway, the wife and I have taken naps, played with the bots, took him to his meetings and basically lived a vegged out week. We're adjusted to the new place and its good. For a while anyway. I took the time to ink some Anna 2 pages yesterday and watched some Friday the 13th movies. Tonight I will pencil some more and do the same. I also took the time to organize my mp3 backup discs and backed up more stuff I had not yet done and then catalogged them via Microsoft Word. Beats carrying around 400 Cds! I got all my music on 8 DVDs. Word.
