Boy I hope you are following my twitter account! Cause I posted some pics of that adult webcomic that I am working on. The inks are flowing nicely. I got a pad of about 40 strips about completed. I want to get to a nice and comfortable 50 before I launch. there's other things I need for the site as well, so I gotta figure all that out. Its not just gonna be one webstrip, but a hub for all things erotica from my brain. Comedy sex strips, erotic stories, pinups, original art, fetish, etc. I want it to be a place you can hang out for a while. Not just read one strip and move on.
BTW, did you folks know I've been planning on doing this for four years? I got pages and sketches that are well over four years old on this stuff. Actually, I had the idea to do a sex comic around 2003. I got pages from that stuff too. So don't think I just go with an idea not before letting it gestate in my head for a while to see the best way for it to evolve and approach it. Its a long time in the making. Remember THE OUTCAST? Yeah. Been gestating since 2002. Rarely does something come right away from my head that I go with. Its how I roll.
One thing got kicked out from under me though. Remember a few posts ago I said that I had a horror novel idea and I was gonna rock on it sometime early 2012? Well, I found out yesterday that someone beat me to the concept and it was made into an indie movie! Grave Encounters I think it is called. My idea was called "LOCKDOWN", about one of those ghost hunting shows that get locked down in an ancient Scottish castle and they are hunted by the castle spirits and one by one killed in gruesome ways. Well, I got beat to the punch. I bow to their speed. Minds think alike sometimes in the creative fields. No biggie. I got other ideas. Ones that have gestated for a while now. Rest assured I'll write something!

Fall-Winter 2012: I got something cooking. Perhaps that long delayed "LINGERIE PARTY MASSACRE?" Oooo! Trust me, I got plans. So thats the idea anyway. And in between I got the sketch card sets, online content, videos, and a new IDIOTHEAD album!!! We shall see where the cards fall on all of that. But still, exciting and productive times!
I think the Steve Jobs' STAY HUNGRY, STAY FOOLISH speech really got to me. I've been very productive this week! I finished all my commissions, sold some of my return cards and did those. I did three new Anna page inks and drew/inked three new adult webcomic strips. Also did laundry, cleaned house and worked 30 hours at the day job. I got 30 hours next week too and more commissions coming next week. Plus those three sketch cards sets are due to arrive any day now! Again, I am working on Marvel Beginnings 2, The Avengers and Night of the Living Dead sets. All are dream come true opportunities! Very fertile time in my career! Staying hungry!! Gettin' Foolish! Love it.
This week I did two new podcasts. I did a new live IDIOTHEAD.com PODCAST and a new DVD DRUNKEN COMMENTARY (Slumber Party Massacre 2)!! Click on the link to the right that says PODCAST NATION to get them, or search on Itunes for them! Im sure a new "IN THE TRENCHES" will be recorded very soon when I get a spare moment.
