After last blog post, I let the words sink in. I gotta admit, I've been feeling a tad better. I keep thinking about it. "Stay Hungry. Stay Foolish." I've been making people laugh at the day job at the strip club again. Just trying to spread some laughs and love around. Its so dark and gloomy there all time and so much negativity sometimes. So I have been staying foolish.

Hungry at home. I've done two large pieces and the feedback from Switzerland was enormous. I really tapped into some new energy on those pieces. It was nice. I inked three ANNA 2 pages. I sold one of my AP RETURN cards on Ebay. the other two are still up. Today I treated myself with some spare cash I just scored. I donated to a pal's kickstarter to help fund his dream. Then I got the Neil Peart DVD thingie on discount. I went a tad overboard but thats okay. Life is for the living.

Hurt my wrist tonight carrying in groceries. Kinda still hurts. I'm concerned for a friend who is going into surgery very soon. I got that on my mind. My parents' health too. I wrote a letter to my friend Ted and hoping things are okay with him. Just living. Loving. Staying foolish.

Best part is that after I get out of work tomorrow, my best friend Shane is coming down for the weekend. We haven't seen each other for 2 years almost. Talk a few times a week via email only. We'll connect a bit now that we're all 30 and what not. He's making the transition back to Michigan from Maryland. His wife and son are back home. He misses them like crazy so I hope I can help him pass the time a bit. We'll probably rock a skit tape or podcast at some point. I hope to show him the burned old home movies we did. I worked hard on them. We shall see. And of course, we'll watch the Neil Peart DVD.

Anyway, busy weekend for me. Gotta finish two large pieces for Switzerland Gallery. I am hoping the Marvel Sketch Cards for UPPER DECK and the Underground NIGHT OF THE LIVING DEAD sketch cards arrive so I can get a jump in on those. I gotta score some new copics at some point too. But the main point is, I'm feeling the embers start to warm up. The fire is coming. Gonna get the eye of the tiger back. I'm damn sure tryin. Music has been helping me a lot. Feels good for me to be "back." :)
