Christmasy Thoughts and things to come...

As I type this, Christmas is two days away. The wife and I already opened our presents to each other. I got that RUSH box set I wanted. (One of them anyway) and she got Jewelry, Natch. But I am most excited to watch the bots open his presents. I think we picked out some good ones. He's been particularly well mannered this past week with barely any freak outs and so I let him open a couple of them early. Just a talking Angry Bird and a Slinky Dog from Toy Story 2. But I am just excited to see him open them. I'm excited to cook for Christmas dinner. My brother invited us up there to see him for Xmas. I wish we could go. Maybe I'll try to trek up there this weekend if I can get free.

Either way, its an exciting time. I got the weekend off and I'm looking forward to just relaxing with my family. Money is tight so going anywhere will be tough already anyway. But still, I am excited. We're gonna sit and watch Christmas movies. I rented SCROOGED and a viewing of THE GRINCH WHO STOLE CHRISTMAS cartoon is a must. Hopefully the bots won't keep ejecting the disc!

Anyway, with this stuff comes the excitement of the new year. I got tons planned. Like the Cheesecake Sketch/Pinup Book for early in the new year. Sometime in the summer ANNA II should be completed as well. I am doing a couple shows, and also I've ultimately decided to come back to San Diego Comic Con to do job searching. So I might drop Heroes or Wizard World. Not sure. Either show would be good for me to do. But we shall see. I gotta dance around a few other things time wise so it will be tricky. Exciting stuff though! Also I got Expendables 4. I talked with Brett about it and the script is almost complete. He's gonna shift that to me when its done. Then I got tons of Marvel and Night of the Living Dead sketch cards to get rocking on. And of course the long awaited venture into webcomics/erotica territory. And I got a few other things cooking. But then I got this...



And consider this an exclusive announcement. Next month is the 10th Anniversary of PLEASANT LIFE as a series. There were four tradebooks, the first three have been out of print for over 5 years. However it is old work from college and I am not interested in redrawing it or spending a lot of time looking at it. Still, the series means a lot to me and I want to do something special. So next month sometime, I will release one of the old tradebooks of Pleasant Life, FOR FREE. Simply a downloadable and readable PDF. This one is on me. Read the old stuff and enjoy it. That easy.

Anyway, have a safe and fun Christmas weekend and spend it with your loved ones. Don your gay apparel and drink spiked egg nog until you can write Sgt. Peppers' style music baby. I love you all. Thanks for dealing with me throughout the 2011 year. It has been crazy, fun and trying at times. But we're coming out of the fog and ready to kick ass like the good old days. Adam 2.0 is emerging with cybernetic enhancements and kung fu grip. This is your warning.
