David Gilmour and Roger Waters from Pink Floyd reunited last night to play a few songs at a benefit. For Floyd fans, this means the world. Its the first time in 5 years they've done anything together and also it truly means that in many ways, the hatchet of 25 years of bitterness and fighting may indeed be truly over. Likely they will be swamped with interviews and offers to tour again, which likely still will never happen. Maybe Dave will join for a solo on Comfortably Numb during Rog's current THE WALL tour on a date or two. That would be sweet! Either way or if nothing else happens, I am just glad to see the two play together and have fun again. A deeply cool moment for Floyd fans everywhere.
