Holy crap! Busier than ever!!!

Sorry for the lack of proper introspective blogging beyond the "diary" posts, folks. I've just been beyond busy. And believe me, thats a good thing. I picked up some shifts at the Den of Sin for extra cash to take to Heroes Con. Just so happens that a co-worker got pink eye, and I kinda had to take them anyway. So I was glad to help out. I got some new gigs this past week and tried to free up my schedule a bit by giving a shift away to no avail. Seems I am too needed there for now! Feels good for everyone wanting a piece of me everywhere, but the T-dogg is starting to wear a bit thin! but with all this stuff going on, I am so excited, I gotta keep my head in the game! First of all, let me share some of the fruits of my labor, in a sneak peek at some of the cards I did for a NIGHT OF THE LIVING DEAD set through Unstoppable Cards and you can order a box of them now right HERE. Some cool autographs and many other sketch cards to collect from other artists! But for now, here are some of mine. I did 40 cards for the set.

Right now I am busy on a card set for Cryptozoic, which I am not sure is announced properly yet. Or if it is, I am not sure I can confirm if I am on it or not. I am in the home stretch on those and it truly is an honor to work on the unmentionable set. I'm drawing characters I grew up reading and watching and its really cool to be a part of!

Also this week, I got the official invite to join another set and its BIG TIME. In fact, it was one of the goals I had when I started doing these cards. That I would get on one of these sets. I was surprised it happened so fast, but it seems my reputation of getting the job done (or being a consistent pest about wanting on the set) got me in. I wish I could say what it is, and believe me, I will very soon. I am waiting for the contract and the cards to arrive. But for me, its big. Huge. and I am completely excited and pumped to get to work on it. A HUGE Shout out to my pals Jay Durden and Grant Gould for their advice and help!!

But of course, I have the current set, the new one and Heroes Con stuff to get done. Commissions, my stuff and more. All of it is a juggle act and its tough. I am looking forward to the vacation that is Heroes Con! As much work as it is, it also is a get away for me. And I haven't had a proper vacation since May last year when I went to Dallas! But I am looking forward to it greatly. I'm rooming with my pal JJ and my great friend Dean is riding down with me and we're splitting the table. I will have limited space than normal, but I am going to try to bring everything with me. I'll have new art and prints to sell, as well as new print cards and finally, FINALLY I will have copies of my new artbook "Cheesecake" there to sell! A re-order was placed and they are being printed now and should be on the way in the next couple weeks. Remember that book? You can order one right HERE if you still want one. I will try to mail them out before Heroes Con! You get a free sketch with one! So cool! But yeah, Heroes Con. One of the best cons out there. I'm glad its my only appearance for the year. A lot of my friends will be there and it will be great to see them and get my drink on!! I cannot wait!

On ANNA 2 and the Adult Webstrip, I've been so busy with other stuff, I haven't been able to get to any of it. But its still being worked on. I am trying to decide if launching a Kickstarter for ANNA 2 in the fall would be good. It didn't work out so well for me last time. What do you guys think?

On non-art related stuff, I haven't watched too many new flicks. I'm behind on watching Game of Thrones and all that. I've been re-watching Doctor Who on Netflix while I work and with the kid (he loves Doctor Who!). I've caught some sports games in the background here and there. I got some new albums, like the new Garbage cd and some used Rush (2112, Test for Echo and Roll the Bones). Been looking for used vinyl but not much luck in findings. Hopefully after Heroes I can go back out and score more gems. Father's Day is coming soon and I hope to get a record player for it! The wife got some cool rings, so I wanted a record player for my day! I gotta check Bed, Bath and Beyond for one of those old radio combo looking dealies. That would be cool! I got coupons.
