My "WANT" LIst

There's a lot of stuff out or coming out that I would like to get. I thought I'd share my current "want list" to you fine folks.

RUSH SECTOR 3 BOX SET: I've been Rush crazy lately, and this has five albums that I don't have yet. Also in there are two of my favorite Rush songs, Subdivisions and Time Stands Still. I'm going to get this very soon.

While I'm at it, RUSH CONCERT TICKETS!! Yeah, they are on tour this summer/fall in support of their new album. Problem is, the only date near me is September 18th. Our baby is due September 10th. So if the baby comes a little early and we come home from the hospital and all is okay, then I can go to the show. I have been holding off on getting a ticket til that is all cleared. then I will go to Stub-Hub and score a ticket. Hopefully it all works out for everyone. I'd hate to miss this show as it may be their last tour. You never know!

I want to get my NES game collection back. I had a few of them for years and then sold them off on ebay. Well, thanks to the next gift posted here, I want them back....

The RETRON 3 game system. It plays NES, SNES and GENESIS games all in the same console! I've watched the videos and Shane has one too. It works like a charm! So I've made a list of NES, SNES and GENESIS games to get for it. Being an artist I don't have a lot of time to devote to newer more involved games. So I am more of a classic gamer. Play for a an hour and change and be done with it. This is perfect for me! Plus, I've never played any Genesis games. It will be interesting.

I've been kind of crazy on Batman lately. I got a box set of the 90's cartoon used that I needed the other day. So now what I want is my own Batmobile! Well, a toy version anyway. My two favorite Batmobiles are the 1989 movie...

and the 1960's versions. I'd like some nice accurate Batmobile high end toys for the fun of it. Why not eh?

I saw this announced yesterday and I lost my shit. Its all the universal classic monster movies on Bluray in a nice bound volume! All remastered, new extras and all that. And best yet, its coming out in Halloween month! This is going to be the box set to beat for me!

Something I rarely talk about is fashion! There's one shoe that I love and have worn since the early 90's, that being the VANS HALF CAB shoe. They are built flat and tough for skateboarding. Believe it or not, I used to kind of be in shape and used to skateboard. I was no good at it, but I kept the music and the fashion. Half Cabs are the most comfortable shoe in the universe and they last for years. I have pair now that has lasted four years and I need an upgrade. I have an imitation pair of similar skateshoes. They are okay, but compared to my beloved Half Cabs, nothing stands up! I'd love to have a closet full of various colors of Half Cab shoes, like those rapper closets you see on MTV CRIBS n'shit. I haven't bought an athletic shoe in decades. Skate shoes all the way baby! Its a secret obsession of mine.

Lastly, and my most extravagent is the Sideshow toys Superman figure. Man is this a beauty! I want this guy so bad. I am not even a high end toy collector! But this one holds a special place in my heart. the original Superman is my favorite comic book movie of all time. Will never be beat. And Chris Reeve, wow. He's awesome. And this figure looks so much like him. Completely poseable and wonderfully accurate. I will own this figure one day, no matter how frivilous it may be to have it. But I will own it.
