Rockin' and Rollin.

Just a general update. The wife had this past weekend off so we spent a lot of time together, which is nice. I also worked my ass off on these Star Wars cards. I am in the home stretch. Only 30 or so left to do! Good thing cause I am running out of marker refills! I am really putting my all into these cards. I want those who pull them to really like what they see! So get excited for that!

My STARSLAM ADULT WEBCOMIC has been getting great traffic! We're 4 strips into chapter two and it updates every monday! If you are over 18 and don't mind a little pornography in your stories, go check it out.

I'm also making new prints for the two upcoming comic show appearances I got at Wizard World Chicago and Detroit Fanfare. I'll premiere them there and I hope to have reprinted my graphic novels before then too. I should have copies of my new GN: The Expendables there as well. YAY!

This last weekend was Heroes Con and I was really bummed out all weekend that I didn't get to go. I kept reading about what a great time everyone was having and I decided that never again shall I miss it. I miss my friends there a lot. I hear it was a great show for everyone. (sigh) I wish I coulda gone. I hit my low point Saturday night when I was working and very low about it. But I promised myself that next year, I am going no matter what. We're working on getting out from under this financial rock that has held us down for so long. So, exciting times ahead. Great potential. We'll see.

I'm hard working getting everything caught up and ready for the shows and my upcoming self imposed break from artworking in the fall. Just need to step back and spend some time on my health and the family for a few months. But everything should be done and run smoothly as usual. You'll still hear from me here and on FB and Twitter. No worries. Most of this is stuff you don't see til its done anyway. So no worries. ;) Looking forward to a break!

I've recently started working my way through the M*A*S*H* series discs. I watched it as a kid but now can appreciate it on another level as an adult. I'm also working through STAR TREK DS9 on Netflix. Trying to watch EVERY episode of it. Having fun. On the music front, I am enjoying the fuck out of the new ALICE IN CHAINS disc. Really good, although the latter half of the album tends to muddle together a bit. The new BLACK SABBATH drops tomorrow. I got tickets to see their show live on August 6th at DTE in Clarkston, MI. And I am seeing RUSH perform live on June 30th! So quite a music year for me! Other great albums are coming soon such as THE WINERY DOGS, TRANSATLANTIC and a new NIN album. Rumors of a new U2 album as well! Exciting times for me! So rare that music is coming out from bands I actually like!
