I cooked my first ham this week. (Yeah I know!) But I think it came out nice. Coulda cooked it a bit longer and let the glaze really carmelize, but it still was yummy!
More exciting than that was my first Banana Bread. I've never baked bread before and now I am a champ at it.
I'll bet you didn't know that I love to cook. Well, I love to eat, so someone has to cook it all! But anyway, yeah, I love learning recepies and perfecting them. I think its one of the reasons my wife keeps me around.
Scott-bot has been enjoying the fall weather a bit. But mostly hanging around the house. He got a new Angry Birds hat and refuses to take it off. Its kind of cute. But the messes he makes with the toys is not (see behind him in the pic).
The other day while waiting for the bus, we let the kids play in the leaves a bit. It wasn't too windy. It was nice. I love fall weather.
On Friday, I got my upper back wisdom tooth pulled and I wasn't looking forward to it. But it was the easiest experience of my life. I didn't feel a thing. I was on pain pills for a couple days but I never got bad. It feels kind of weird to have a hole in my mouth but its mostly closed over. The dentists there were spectacular. I used gas and anything I could to calm down but it really went smooth. Was over in a minute. But I'm glad to have it done and that gross tooth out of my mouth. I feel so much cleaner! So if you are afraid to go to the dentist, don't be. I was a big pussy about it, but I didn't feel a damn thing. It was awesome! If I had to get another one pulled tomorrow, I'd think nothing of it.
Well, that is it. Back to the grind. Hope to show off some new art this week. I am falling behind and I gotta start getting back to it. No nonsense. This is a full on heavy production week. I gotta get back to where I was, schedule-wise. Wish me luck!
