Fun Week of sitting and drawing stuff.

Pretty uneventful week. I went to work, and came home. Not much else going on as far as fun and stuff. Some notes though:

1-We paid off yet ANOTHER credit card! We're getting closer to being debt free and able to start saving for our house (if and when!) Pat on the back for me and the wife.

2-I finished the art to OUTCAST #3, so now I am REALLY ahead on that series. I've already started to write the script to 4-6, as it will be a story arc featuring flashbacks to the origin of my main character. Very dark and nutty.

3-I started to scan OUTCAST #1 into the computer and began word ballooning the thing (my least favorite part). I hope to have final print outs this week or the next.

4-I am contacting my print company about a few side projects I am working on, as well as reprinting Pleasant Hymns #1-2. I've been sold out of #1 for a few months now. If I got an online sale, I'd be screwed!

5-I set up a paypal account so that people can buy our stuff online and not use the snail mail method. this is 2006 after all. Glad I'm getting with the times.

6-I did some updating to the site to make it look more sleek and professional. I'm quite proud of how the site is evolving. We are about where we need to be.

7-Shane and I are getting together this next weekend to jam out demos and finally record the audio commentary to the IDIOTHEAD DVD. Should be fun. I drove to st. joe quickly on saturday to get some papers and a phone book to prepare for our eventual move there. I saw Shane for about 4 hours. It was fun. We jammed on Beatles tunes and some old heavy Dropped D songs we wrote back in our high school days.

8-Stopped by FANFARE comics in Kalamazoo and scored THE WAITING PLACE vol #1, and some MARY JANE LOVES SPIDERMAN comics. All my Sean McKeever. I'm becoming a fan of his writing.

9-I finished inking 6 pages, drew two new ones and started inking two others. I also did 4 new "girlie" drawings for selling at the cons this year.

10-I rented "40 year old virgin" and found it to be delightfully stupid, thus funny for some reason. I also watched 8 of the 10 episodes of CURB YOUR ENTHUSIASM's 3rd season. Other than that, I am still working through my new MST3K bootlegs and its fun!

Okay, thats what I did this week. This week will be full of more drawing and prepping my stuff for printing, plus finalizing Tshirt designs, demoing songs, and jamming on general disarray.
