Rumours and things...

There is a lot going on in my life currently. Things that once in place, will effect me in ways I never thought possible. I've been absent from the boards and blogs lately than usual because of these things. Hymns has been delayed from its January 30th release date without explanation and I owe you an update. Before alot of rumours start about my whereabouts, I thought I would dispell any and all heresay and give the facts out:

#1-THERE WILL BE A NEW IDIOTHEAD CD EARLY THIS YEAR! -- Shane and I are conviening this weekend and next weekend to continue work on our as yet untitled 3rd album. As for what it will sound like, how long it will be, I cannot say. What I can say is that we have 7 songs in the can already, some of which have MP3 samples back at the HEAD site. We will be recording two, possibly more this weekend, and even more next weekend. As for sound, it will be much, much more polished than the previous two albums. We will give you updates as soon as possible.

#2-THERE WILL BE SOME SORT OF IDIOTHEAD TOUR! -- A few people have asked about this possiblity. It is "possible" that we would be willing to play a few shows, even a few openers and such. We'd also love to play a "album release" show of sorts. As for where, when and how, thats another mystery. Just stay tuned for updates. Our schedules are quite hectic as of late. Is it a "full blown tour?" No. But there will be some sort of support for our work.

#3-ADAM'S COMIC TOUR GOES AS SCHEDULED --Yes, all appearances are still on. Except for the North Carolina "hero con"... that has to be sacrificed for the greater good. But all other shows from Detroit, California (and still possibly) Washington DC are still a go. Adam will be there selling new products and Shane will be with him on some appearances.

#4-PLEASANT HYMNS #3 DELAY -- This is the big one people want to know... Yeah, its scheduled for March 30th right now. Reason being a lack of funding and lack of promotional needs. Really, its off convention season, so any releases right now would be lost in the shuffle. Its best to release it all closer to convention time to get it to the fans cheaply and in person. But, it IS DONE, and will be printed ASAP.

#5-The OUTCAST/HYMNS #4 WILL BE RELEASED AS SCHEDULED --No worries here. Outcast #1 drops in May at the Motor City Con, Outcast #2 in July, Hymns #4 and Outcast #3 in September. Then I will be working on the next installments of Outcast and Hymns.

#6-ARE YOU MOVING ADAM? --This weekend, I will know the answer to this. It is very possible that I will be picking up my life and moving on to a new town and new challenges. I am still representing in Michgian though, no worries there. I'm still a homestate boy. But my new location will be in an area to help me achieve more growth with my comics and help promote my work better. So... more on this later...
