WEDNESDAY----
I wake up and check email. Everything is in order and I am getting my Pleasant Hymns books tomarrow! Excited, I go for a walk. I chat with Kelly for a bit before she heads to work. Then I head to work and work from 5pm till 3am. I opt to head home an hour early again cause of just being plain old, burnt out! I get home, doodle a bit and then pass out watching STAR TREK: ENTERPRISE.
THURSDAY----
I wake up with a notice that my Pleasant Hymns #3 books are in the office. I go down and pick them up. They came out pretty nice. I am slightly unhappy with the way they placed the pages and glued differently than normal, but other than that, its solid Gold! I update the site saying that Mayhem and Pleasant Hymns #3 books are finally available.
I head to work and work my scheduled 5 - 5am. Toward the end of my shift, I start researching for our June trip to quick stop/RST in Jersey, and the Monroeville Mall (site where they shot Dawn of the Dead). I am so excited about that trip, I cannot stand it! I get home and pass out after floating emails to everyone I have been missing.
FRIDAY----
I get up and check email. I get a UPS notice that my MAYHEM books are on thier way. I shoot emails to the other artists congratulating them on a job well done. We're already planning a sequal.
I also get a notice that I have nother package down in the office. I go down and get it. Its my camcorder from Shane. I made him mail it to me so I could record footage of the MOTOR CITY CON next weekend for the DVD we are working on. More on that later.
I go out and grab applications all over. No one of value is hiring.... except Mcdonalds...
I cannot describe the hate I have for that place. The main reason being: I don't want to shave off my goatee. I love it, how it hides my double chin. I am still weighing the idea whether or not I want to do it. But the extra cash is DEFINATLY needed to help pay bills and cover future printing costs. If I want to have a career at all, I need to buck up and take care of business. I could do it for 6 months or so just to get out of debt and save for 2007 comic prints and trips. All of these options are being weighed on heavilly. I got a couple more job searches to try, but for now... thats where I am at.
I head to work and pretend to work my 11 hour shift before going home, sketching on a couple commissions I have, updating word balloons on EARTHGIRL and updating various websites and junk before conking out to ENTERPRISE.
