Just a quick update with things on my mind. I'm trying to stay busy on word balloons and get OUTCAST out the door. I did take alot of downtime recently. Plus with the kid being toothy/moody lately, its hard to really focus on word ballooning. Cause some of the dialog is being re-written as I go, and I need concentration to do it. I'm doing alot of it tonight, but I'm taking a break to talk to ya'll.
Rick Moranis hasn't been in a film since 1996. (Big Bully) But he just signed to be in Ghostbusters 3 with the entire original cast! YAY! I'm really excited about the potential of a Ghostbusters 3. I am one who didn't think the second one sucked. I liked it. So to do a part three wouldn't dissapoint me. I'm excited for it. I like this trend of old 80's icons returning for one last go around at their signiture characters. Speaking of old icons returning...
McCartney/Starr reunite for benefit concert:
Something about seeing the surviving Beatles together gives me wood. For those that don't know, I LOVE THE BEATLES. LOVE THEM! Almost obsessive with them. I know a fuckload about The Beatles, the songs, the solo careers, etc. They never make any of my lists because I deified them beyond it. Like, Pink Floyd is my #1 favorite band, but THE BEATLES are deified beyond that. They are the only band that will ever achieve that status to me. If someone out there doesn't like the Beatles... man, I dunno. I just don't think we can really get on very well. The Beatles are the end all, be all of the catagory of the GREATEST BAND WHO EVER/WILL EVER live. So know this, and you will get through life fine.
But it was good to see these two boys together once again.
Finally, the best costume I've seen from Emerald City Comic Con 2009:
I'd totally go cosplaying as a giant strip of bacon.
Okay, back to work.
