Taking a quick break from housework and boxing things to just post some random day thoughts for ya'll. Its what keeps you coming back here to read right? I hope I entertain you. Its not like I am uber famous or something and lead the most interesting life ever. But its a good life.
I got up around 9:40 am to a knock at the door and there was a case worker for Scott there saying we had an appointment to look at Scott and his speech stuff. I let her in from the cold a bit and showed her obviously that we were in chaos with stacks of boxes and all that and could we reschedule. She agreed and that was that. Got the bots up and then checked online stuff for a while. He's addicted to playing with our two DVD players. He goes into the bedroom putting his discs in and out, playing the menus and the song bits in movies he loves. then goes to the living room and does the same on our BluRay player. All day long with this. He's been doing a month now. If its not that, he's messing about with my ipad and listening and pausing the music on there in videos and such. He's obsessed with music it seems. I try to get him to sing but no go. A few words here and there but not much. Gonna get his hearing tested again as soon as the move is done.
Five days and a wake up til my move. It will be my 22nd move in my life. I am so anxious to get this going. If I had the cash, I'd start moving in now. We'd have to pay like $20 a day over there to get the keys and all that. But it would totally be worth it. Considering it. I got the next few days off. Would be cool to get some of the workload off of us by taking some boxes over and what not.
The wife is at her new store in Jackson, almost an hour away. She texted me and told me the drive was decent and doable. I hope the winter aint too bad. And I hope she likes it there. I really do. A lot depends on it. I want her to be happy. She deserves it and has earned it for sure.
Selling our treadmill hopefully today to a co-worker. I wont need it with the huge gym at the new complex! Its gonna be great there. I cannot wait to dip in the pool and hot tub, or take a relaxing lay in the sauna. Its like a mini resort right outside my apartment! And boy do I need a vacation! A nice relaxing day would do. Yes, quite.
Gonna drink tonight a bit with the wife. I hope to get some artwork rolling on ANNA and the adult webcomic this week. Get me back into the groove. I'm thinking of digging up my old poems, short stories from the late 90s and early 2000's that few have seen and publishing them as a digital book. Would anyone out there be interested in seeing that stuff? Formative Adam years? Maybe. Its doable, sure. I'm interested in cataloging these things for those who would want them, especially my kids. We'll see. If you are interested in such a thing, let me know. I could whip it up fairly quickly.
Okay, laundry to do. Cat box to clean.
