So far So far.

Been doing some spring cleaning in the house... well, cleaning, hoping that spring will hurry up and get its ass here soon. I decided that my nerd bookcases were getting too crowded, so I got a new one and shifted everything over to the right. Check out the new and improved nerd office area:

Still got some cleaning/straightening to do obviously.

In other news, I thought I was done doing prints for the 2010 Con season, but a sketch request has morphed into a new idea: A Family Guy tribute to the KISS DESTROYER cover! Here is the peliminary sketch:

I gotta redraw it and work out the inks and then do all the rest digitally. Many thanks to muh pal Tim Hamm for the idea! He gets full credit.

Lastly, I drew another double page splash for ANNA #2 and its quite idologically sensitive. In fact, when working on the details, I kinda sickened myself. A-that I was making it so impactful a scene and B-that I came up with it in the first place. Its pretty offensive and gross to some people who would hold this sort of thing sacred. But I am reminded of something Rob Zombie said to his actors on the set of THE DEVIL'S REJECTS, in that "Art isn't safe." So I've tried to take that statement and run with it. Not to go out of my way to offend people, but just be honest with how the events and the characters unfold in the book. When these pages are seen in the context of the story, they will make sense, and not just put in there to make offense. See, the main villan of the book thinks he's the second coming of Christ after the apocalypse and its his job to shepherd the remaining flock of humanity, as well as punish them for what he perceives as old sins... even though he's full of it and bat-shit insane. Anyway, thought I'd share with you the direction of where this book is going: (WARNING: MAY OFFEND)

Anyway, issue #2 is shaping up and I got about 10-12 pages left to go. Setting up the huge gunfight for issue #3. I cannot wait to challenge myself with that. People who have seen my work before now will be blown away with what I plan to do. You ain't seen nothing yet!

Cheers, T
