HAPPY NEW YEAR!

Well here we are, the last day of the year!

2018 has been a year of ups and downs. But better than 2017 was! 2019 is already starting to shape up to be a great year to come! In 2019 I will be celebrating my 25th year in self-publishing. I will have several new releases including:

--Reprints of OLD OLD OLD comics from High School, College and beyond!
--THE EROTIC ZONE 2
--PLEASANT LIFE 2
--A NOVEL! I'm not saying which one, but finally!!!! One of them is coming out.

I've already signed up for a couple appearances even! Nothing big, just a couple local stops.

My Patreons will have a great year too! Here's a collection of SFW images in one collage for ya:

Yes, even PLEASANT LIFE and ANNA POCALYPSE characters are getting in on the sexy fun over at my NSFW Patreon!
You ever wanted to see some of my characters nude and rude? Now is the time to join my PATREON! Yes, you will get to finally see Mortin's twig and berries. And lots of ANNA POCALYPSE nudity too! To see it all and support my work, join my PATREON here: https://www.patreon.com/ADAMTALLEY

I did a best of/worst of list on my IDIOTHEAD MORNING SHOW PODCAST, which is still going on! Listen and subscribe via ITUNES right here: itpc://www.talkshoe.com/rss-idiothead-morning-show.xml

2019 is going to be a great year. I can already feel it. I know that I got some challenges staring me in the face, but I am ready to take them on. Let's fucking do this!

I love you all, Happy New Year!!

Announcement

Well, I'm back posting here again.

I still have my Patreon, which you can find right HERE, but I decided to keep Idiothead.com more active as well. So basically I am doing both. Here's how its going to work:

---I will continue blogging, promoting and podcasting here at Idiothead.com AND my Patreon. My Patreon will get the content (and extra content blogging-wise/podcast-wise) FIRST. Then it will post here. This site will NOT be getting the monthly erotica comics content, nor the process pencils/inks and bonus comics content that I post at the Patreon.

So basically, if you come here to good ol' Idiothead.com, you'll see my blogs again. I think I am uploading all of my Patreon podcasts to the old podcast page here.

Why am I doing this? Well, to put it simply, cross promotion.

Yeah, I'm creating more work for myself. But I think the ends justify the means. Promoting myself to a paywall has only got me so far. The Patreon is basically new monthly and specifically themed content. While Idiothead.com promotes my history and ALL my content. NSFW and clean alike.

Next year is my 25th Anniversary in self publishing and I plan to do some big things. Surprise content, new books, some appearances, etc. I need to be open about the process of promoting that and my work.

So yeah, if you liked the old blogs (all archived here) and the podcast (idiothead.com morning show), its all returning here. But to get the FULL ADAM EXPERIENCE, I strongly suggest the Patreon still. You get monthly new erotica comics, process posts, podcasts first, extra podcasts and blogs that won't be posted here, sketchbook peeks, downloadable bonus comics, unreleased comics and more. Join my Patreon HERE

For now, Idiothead.com is up and running again. I never left it. I repaid the licenses and domain name fees. Its mine. I own it. So why not use it as a tool? Never hurts, I say!

Anyway, we back. Onward and upward.

Random Chunks of Life Experiences

Hey friends,

Last night's blog about Caleb gave me a huge spike in reads. Mostly due to reposts and revisits. I got some wonderful messages about it. I really appreciate it. Here in the blog I try to be entertaining, informative and write from a place of honesty about how I feel about this thing called life. People seem to be entertained by it because the numbers have stayed with me over the 14 years I've done this blog here at Idiothead.com - Same thing with my Morning Show Podcast (Available on Itunes for FREE). I appreciate the continued love and support.

Today's blog is a list of randomness that is on my mind and is going on currently. Enjoy:

1. Speaking on my previous blog about TOYS: My girlfriend sent me this. I thought it fit the concept in my head and thus justifies my feelings on the subject. Let's hear it from the man himself:

2. Remember my old cat Jake? He and Milo were my favorite cats. Milo I lost in 2009. Jake passed away in 2014. I miss them both greatly:

We used to poke fun at Jake about how big of a cat he was and how much he loved to eat. I saw this painting this week and it reminded me of him. Gave me a chuckle.

3. The boys came over fora  double sleep over last weekend and I snapped this pic when they were sleeping. I thought it was cute.

They were laying together. So cute!!
4. My oldest son Cody is coming for a week long visit this coming weekend. Its a crazy time in his life and mine right now but we're gonna make the juggle and make it work. I'm looking forward to seeing him again. Hopefully he will let me snap a few pics this time. In six short months he will turn 18 years old. So trippy to think that!!

5. There's a lot going on in STAR TREK world lately. What with the new show "Discovery" and now reportedly a Khan mini-series. To be honest, neither has me excited. Discovery was promised to be set 10 years before the events of Kirk/Spock prime (not JJ Abrams-verse) and yet the costumes, designs, etc look like JJ Abrams-verse. Plus there's Harry Mudd, being played by a 50 year old Rain Wilson, when in according to the timeline, Mudd would be in his 20s. Also meeting species before the Kirk timeline, like Tribbles... It just sounds like they are taking Trek-isms and throwing them together for a mish-mash of Trekking, with modern storytelling tropes of explosions and crew members hating each other. I'm not excited for it. And now the Khan series: It might be cool, but it has already been covered in a great book series and comic series. If you can improve on that, I don't know. But most importantly: WHY? Sometimes you don't need to see every nook and cranny of a universe. The story in your head can be just as great, if not better. Sometimes when we are shown in a cannon form how something unfolded, we get disappointed. I so wish they would just make a post-TNG/VOY/DS9 show and move forward that way. This isn't grandpa complaining... this is just story writing preference 101 talking. It would be as if I were to make a TV show based on football of the past, give them new, modern uniforms and robotic balls n'shit, and said it takes place before the first superbowl. Some football fans would be like, "wait a minute!!" Just saying. And yes, I'll give it a few episodes of a try. But I'm not excited about it.

5.5 But what I am excited about is Seth McFarlane's THE ORVILLE. Looks like a Galaxy Quest TV show and I'm sure will be a post-post-modern deconstructionist view on sci-fi TV show-isms. We'll see if it has legs to last that long with that, but so far what I see... I'm excited for that rather than Trek. So that says something.

6. I know you are probably curious as to how my comics are coming along. I'm busy assembling the Erotic Zone GN and that will go up on Kickstarter hopefully in August. I'm finishing it up now. Bare with me. I just had to juggle a weird schedule for a while and it took me a long time to catch up with sleep and life around it. But my training is done and I've tapped into the overtime hours. I even had to give up my Saturday off this week for some OT. That's okay. Its all for a greater good. But life priorities must come first before play. Bare with me.

7. On my MORNING SHOW PODCAST I started a new segment called "Does it hold up," where I revist old favorite movies I haven't seen in decades and ask essential questions wondering if the movie holds up or not. Also we are fast approaching episode 500 of the podcast. The contest now for the show is: EMAIL ME a question (or several) that I can read and answer on the air and you get entered into a drawing to win three hand drawn art pages from my comics! Contest ends just before I record episode 500, which is coming very soon! I think I got like 14 left to go. And those come quick! Act now and win stuff!!

I guess that is all that is on my mind currently. Have a great week my friends. Go do great things for yourself and others. Make it happen!

My Shitty Brain

Hey friends.

Thought I would update about nothing in particular. My new FB page has a way of warning me when I am not posting enough, so I thought I would try to write this morning to shut it up with a post about a new blog here. I don't have much to say as there hasn't been much going on. This past weekend I had my kids so I didn't get any work done. I was feeling down in the dumps a bit too and for no particular reason, really. This week was my friend Caleb's birthday (RIP) and also money has been kinda tight, so I haven't had much to go out and play with. I got a TO DO list a mile long and I'm swiping away with it a day at a time. Maybe that all has something to do with it.

My sleep is erratic as well due to a 4:30am wake-up to get the kids on Saturday. I find that the older I get, the worse I am to re-cooperate when my sleep pattern gets fucked up. It takes a few days. And by the time I right myself, I have to do it all over again. I woke up at 6am this morning after going to bed at 2am last night. See what I mean? Makes my brain go haywire sometimes.

But that's the day to day juggle. Not much else to say about it. Some days I am good and some days I have the feels about one thing or the other. Mostly about the things I gotta get done or friends/family that are gone. Sometimes its the bullshit going on in the world, politics, etc. I know I suffer from depression but for the most part, I feel like I got it handled. I'm ok. And that's all I need to be sometimes, you know? And then sometimes I just like to have a nice drink and forget about it all for a little while. I think when I do that, I scare some people. Like maybe I make people think I am worse off than I am. For example this weekend:

I didn't intend for my tweet to be a "cry for help" type of situation. But this person reached out and made me feel better. I certainly appreciate it! But please, don't think I'm whining or in dire need for attention or validation. I'm doing ok. But it means the world to me when people do reach out and care like this person did above. So often we create in a vacuum and now that the convention world has completely changed and its harder to get that face to face thumbs up from your peers and fans, to feel validated or that you matter at all can sometimes be a stretch for people at my level.

But I do get lots of emails, PMs and messages back that do show that, yes indeed, I am loved and I DO feel it. Thank you very much, folks. Its this back and forth from me to you that I have worked hard over the years to cultivate. I have pumped out weekly content for years and years on this blog and my podcasts. In this, I've strived to be brutally honest and open at all times. I've teased and revealed. I've shared and lost. I've struggled and celebrated. Its all on here and nicely archived. These things are my therapy as much as the occasional drink some booze/listen to Bob Dylan private sessions I have with myself. Its how I deal with things.

So please know, things are going good. I'm getting work done, I'm losing weight (down 11 pounds now), I'm going out and doing things (seeing TOOL live tomorrow) and I got a support group all around me to keep me sane. Bills are paid, I got things I like and love... I'm good. I really am. I know I am blessed in this life. And I appreciate you folks checking me out and keeping me in your life. I see the downloads, the likes, the reposts, the views on all my stuff and I take note of who is paying attention. I appreciate it.

All of this will not go unrewarded! The comics I got going will come out. The books I have promised will come out as well. There is so much work to do before I can sit back and relax. And I'm sure much more after that. It won't stop until I do.

Anyway thanks for the continued love and support, my friends. Much love to all of you.

Chase the Whimsies

Hey friends. My son has broke my keyboard (again) so the comma and some numbers do not work on it until I get a replacement. Please excuse my lack of commas if I need one for this posting.

The online sale of BUY A GRAPHIC NOVEL - GET A FREE COLORING BOOK continues! Order a book HERE

I'm busy with commission work that I have to get rolling on and new art for future things. When it comes out who knows? I'm just staying productive. I'm even thinking of taking on more work! Namely getting my youtube channel in order. I would like to do more video work in the future. Showcase cool locations - travel vlogs - how to vlogs - talking vlogs... but mostly just provide entertainment for those who visit my work. Since great access to what I do costs money I would like to provide something free in return. There are many people I watch on youtube who do similar things so I am trying my best to create ideas that are uniquely "me." I started filming some already and I will launch a new channel soon with these videos. Just a way to keep providing content for today's day and age. I got too much "old" shit out there. Time to make with the new.

I would love to do some travelling to get footage from exotic locales and places. I have some in mind. But right now I lack the two key things needed to do it: time and money. All those things are focused on other areas right now. But I will work on it and do what I can.

When I'm not busy I've been watching these Star Trek fanfilms that I have never got the chance to check out. So far the standout is http://www.startrekcontinues.com/ They do shows like it was still 1967. The sets and the shots and even the dialog fit for the time. It truly is like as if it was lost episodes from the old series. My nerd heart is bursting. Too bad CBS/Paramount is making it so hard for fan films these days. I daresay anything they are doing is way better than what the new movies are pumping out.

While I'm on that subject - The new Trek movie has a pretty high rating on Rotten Tomatoes. So I am ashamed to say I became like the nerds on the internet and pre-judged a flick before seeing it. I feel like an asshole and I apologize to anyone who was turned off by my posting. Its not a big deal but it kind of is to me. So I will keep my "opening day" record intact and see the flick this Friday and then judge it after seeing it. I might even put down my swords and see how entertaining this new Ghostbusters is. Cause why not. Who cares really?

I spoke on the new IDIOTHEAD MORNING SHOW about the Maron series finale and about Preacher the Tv series and my current thoughts on it. Download and enjoy. Its free.

In the end we are all just starving for entertainment and maybe we can go have a good time at the movies and turn off our own brains and drown out the evils of the world. Just for a little while anyway. Meanwhile I will continue to do my best to chase the whimsies and provide my own entertainment. I'm trying to evolve the ideas in my head and get them out and provide my own spin on the world. Its all we ever try to do right? Don't ever say I never gave back! I'm not very good at just taking things. I'd rather give them out to the world.

Anyway have a good week! I'm going to go get a new keyboard so I can type commas again.

Cheers T

The Juggle of Life

Hey friends! I recorded a couple great podcasts recapping my Motor City Weekend. You can check them out on Itunes under "IDIOTHEAD MORNING SHOW." Subscribe. Rate/comment. Helps the rankings. Appreciated!

Today I recorded a new one announcing my "retirement" from "comics." Listen HERE to learn what that means. But in a nutshell, it means a focus on small press and indie shows only. And I am moving toward more writing projects along with illustration. I think that is where I belong. Motor City this year was basically a big "Goodbye for now" to the world of "Comics" as it is traditionally known. But its time to evolve the idea of what I do and what I want out of it. Onward!

The dayjob is still going great! I love it there. Might be my favorite job I've ever had. It feels good to work with a bunch of people I get along with and I have zero complaints about it. I MIGHT get a second job for a couple days a week this summer/fall to make some extra scratch. I got some things I want to save for in the future and taking that on will be a struggle, but in the end, maybe worthwhile.

New music I got: RADIOHEAD "A Moon Shaped Pool" (I give a 4.5 out of 5), ACE FREHLEY "Origins" (3 out of 5) and I'm still digging on the new Anthrax and David Bowie albums from this year. Great year in music so far!

I'm not caught up with movies or TV whatsoever, so I need to make time to do that. Been busy, as you can imagine.

I'm still obsessed with NES collecting. Recently I aquired games like DOUBLE DRAGON and WIZARDS AND WARRIORS in the box! I think I got about 45 or so games now. I got all the Pat the NES Punk dvds too. I basically am obsessed with it as a hobby. Its a good thing I guess. Gives me something to do. And its an investment for the future.

I got a ton of things I have to do around the house here. Continuing to pack and toss old things. Sell stuff I don't want and just enjoy what I have. Its all a juggle but its happening. I move out of this place and into my new apartment on August 26th. I'm really looking forward to it!! Probably late July  I'm really gonna ramp shit up and pack it all! I'm anxious to get it going.

TWO DAYS LEFT on the Starslam 2 Kickstarter! Get your copy HERE

I gotta go get some new frames for a couple posters and artwork to hang in my new place, as well as a toaster. RIVITING! I know...

I got a couple books I still want to sit and read. Contemplating taking a break from all artworking/writing to take in some new media.

Also considering a self imposed Net-Silence period to get shit done. I've been good staying off of facebook except for promotional purposes. I need to keep that up!

I have been doing really good on my diet. Not counting the White Castle indulgence on my vacation, I haven't had fast food in almost two weeks. That is down from 2-3 times a day!!! So, yeah. Been good. I've been keeping my promise to the universe. I'm not even tempted really. I've been cooking at home a lot more. Right now I got chicken noodle soup going in my new crock pot. Testing out a new style of making it, all handmade. Should be good. It certainly smells good as I type this!!

Coming up this week I'm seeing the band GHOST in Grand Rapids, spending a day with my girl as well. Kids on Sunday. Then next weekend I have them Saturday through Monday for Memorial Day weekend! I hope to have my oldest son out for a long visit sometime soon. I miss him.

Well, that is what is going on in my life currently. Take care and have a week!

It's that time of year again! This Saturday I will be signing and sketching at SUMMIT COMICS (Formerly Clem's Comics) in Downtown Lansing from 8-Noon, 2pm-5pm or so. Starslam 2, Con News, Pics, Website thoughts and More

Hey folks, BIG Blog today. Thought I'd keep you in the loop on some things. Plus share some new exciting STARSLAM 2 page progress shots and some pics of my boys and I. So lets hop to it!

1-CON NEWS: Unfortunately the September 26th show in Taylor is cancelled. I guess the promoter lost the venue that the show was going to be at and so the show had to be cancelled. Its a bummer, but it will be on for next year. But that's okay, it gives me more time to focus and prepare for the upcoming GRAND RAPIDS COMIC CON going on Oct 16-18th. I reserved my hotel and I am locked in, baby! The show is at the DeVos Center in downtown Grand Rapids and is sure to be a happening. For more info on the show, visit their website right HERE

2-PODCAST: I'm still doing Idiothead Morning Show podcasts via Itunes! You can subscribe and download via Itunes by doing a search for IDIOTHEAD, or stream/download them right HERE

3-WEBSITE: I am planning an overhaul to the website here. I was thinking of moving to an entirely new server and trying some new approaches, even possibly a new URL, but I am not sure on the subject. I've been with Freeservers for several years now and its working quite well. I only pay $50 for the year and its been good. But I am mulling around ideas. Change is in the air! If you think there's something my website here is lacking and you'd like to see it, feel free to EMAIL ME HERE and give me your thoughts. I'd appreciate any feedback anyone has.

4-STARSLAM 2! - Holy crap folks. We're rolling right along. I'm into the final battle pages and they are gonna be doozies. I'm gonna share some of the non-spoilery pics here for you. Here's some pencils with some inks:

Pencils on a page.

Double page splash being inked...

The girls getting ready for some action!
As you can see, everything is up a notch. Trust me, there's MUCH more to come! Hope you enjoyed what you see here so far. (heh heh)

5-CONVENTION PRINTS! I've finished work on all my new 11x17 prints and I am taking them to Grand Rapids Comic Con with me. However if you are in the Lansing area and need some of my art now, stop by THE RECORD LOUNGE in East Lansing and you can score some there! Check it out:

They are gracious enough to allow me some wallspace to sell my wares. There are other local artists' stuff up too. Plus GREAT vinyl selection! Check them out on Facebook right HERE - Please go and support local art and music!

6- It's been a while since I shared some pics of my boy James (who turns 3 in a few days!!!!!). So here's some home pics I thought I'd share:

James LOVES my homemade chicken n' dumplings and Mashed Potatoes. Gloria's Dumplings live on!

I gave myself a shave and a haircut. Got rid of the Van Dyke and just went with a Goatee from now on. HOT!
Lastly, I thought I'd share a few warm up head sketches I did the other night. Here ya go:

So there ya go! Thanks for reading folks. Have a good week!

Disconnected...

Hey all. Its been a so-so week. Not nearly as productive as I wanted it to be. I only worked maybe one or two days on cards and coloring. For the most part I have been nursing my health. There's something wrong with me and I am not sure what it is. For a while now, I've had these slight "light-headed/dizzy spells." They come and go in a mere second and they sort of knock me off slightly, enough that I can get ill. Vertigo to a sense, but it has caused many other things to me such as much worry and even anxiety attacks. I have been actually suffering anxiety attacks when I am alone. Alone at the night job and alone at home while the wife is away. Mostly fear that there is something greater wrong with me and I am alone with the kids. But that is an irrational fear.

I want you to know that I greatly despise doctors. I know way too many people who have been misdiagnosed and even lost their lives at points because of it. However I do feel it is necessary to get your engines checked from time to time. Especially since my age has got to the point where yearly checkups might be a good idea. I wanted to avoid it while I was transitioning from morbid obesity down to being just a simple fat guy. I've went from 373 pounds to 343 pounds in three months. I've quit soda and have made better decisions as to my eating habits. Daily fruits, etc. But still, this problem remains. I still feel slightly "off." Like when you hear a song you've heard a million times but theres a guitar part missing, or the drum beat is 1/4th a second off all the sudden. Just disconnected. Its hard to explain. I'm having daily dizzy spells and even driving is becoming a problem. I went to the store today feeling really good and energetic, only to return sick and lightheaded from motion sickness. I've suffered motion sickness all my life, but for some reason it is increasing. I don't like it at all. I sometimes think it might be my body withdrawl from caffeine and all the other crap I am not partaking in so much anymore. Is that possible? I don't know. I have 36 years of bad habits I am overcoming, so I am sure I will be punished in some way... if I already haven't done too much damage to the one valuable and irreplaceable thing I have in this life: My body.

So I went to the doctor this last Friday and they took 4 vials of blood:

Needles freak me out and I didn't dare look at it, but toughed it out I did. FOUR VIALS!!! It took forever it seemed, but I got through it. They ruled out the major worries right away like heart problems, blood sugar, etc. Blood pressure was high but in the normal range. If I continued on my destructive path with food, I would likely get worse, stats-wise. But I have been changing all of that. I should know the results on Monday... IF they found anything. I doubt they will. The problem is in my head. Something with my perceptions or equilibrium. A CAT scan would be a good idea if I could get one. But to rule out anything major happening to me is helping with the anxiety. But it remains that I just feel wrong. Something is off and I can feel it. Its fucking with my world. I can make myself very dizzy doing simple things like moving my head too much. I have learned to sort of move my head with my body, like Michael Keaton in BATMAN. If I don't think about it, I can distract myself from the issues. Last night I had some friends over and we had some beers. I went slow and enjoyed myself. It seemed the more I had fun and just talked, the more I felt "normal." This thing, whatever it is, has taken over my life to some degree and I want it to be fixed.

So I am going to wait for my results this week and meanwhile just try to stay busy and distracted. Wish me luck. I wish I could describe this better, but I cannot. I just know I am not right. Hopefully I get well soon... whatever that will take.

I did finish a commission this week. It was for a pet owner who lost a dog recently. It is meant to be a holiday present. Here it is:

Touching on the whole Itunes/U2 thing that I have ranted endlessly about on my PODCAST - I was pleased to see that the U2 album has been getting good reviews and also all U2 albums have been increasing in sales via digital and physical media. It seems the album got younger kids checking out their back catalog and thats a great thing! So I declare the album a complete win over the naysayers. I've listened to it several times and its fast approaching my favorite release of 2014 so far. But there's a couple months to go and some major albums coming.. like Foo Fighters and um, that one band... something Floyd that is Pink or something... Also Radiohead's Thom Yorke just released an album via free methods too. I gotta get that and dissect it. What an exciting time for my favorite bands!

I am fast approaching episode #300 of my MORNING SHOW PODCAST - You still have time to enter my contest to win a free copy of my 120 page full color ARTBOOK! Simply email me a question to read live on the show BY CLICKING HERE and that enters you into a drawing. Enter NOW for your chance! Its quite likely I will be recording the new episode sometime this week. So HURRY!

It appears I might be doing another live appearance somewhere in Lansing before the end of the year. I'll let you folks know as soon as details are set it stone. Probably sometime late Oct/early Nov. Stay tuned.

Those local to me who want some of my art prints can hit up THE RECORD LOUNGE in East Lansing and score some, and some killer vinyl!! They are allowing me to set up the prints there in their shop and people are digging them. So stop in if you are in East Lansing area and get my shit! Many of those prints will not be reprinted anymore, so get em while they last!!

I recently have started to recollect some CDs as well. It seems me getting rid of physical media made me miss them greatly. Luckily, Cds are dirt cheap right now so when I have a spare $5-10, I toss some to some albums. Hey, its better than spending it on fast food! I need to get a CD player that will work with my receiver though.

I suppose thats all I have for the moment. I hope you all have a good week. Hopefully I get good news about my health soon. I'll keep you all posted if I learn anything.

Much Love,  T

Lonely Week 3 - Kickin' Butt All Over!

Hey everyone! Back again. Been a busy week. Lots of working, late nights, changing sleep patters over and back again, but I'm good. I've been working on coloring for Starslam and the new Star Wars card set stuff. Busy all around and thats great! I also finished a small commission I decided to take on. I'm not currently doing many commissions but I accepted this one because it was for an owner of a recently deceased pet. I can relate and so it had to be done.

Some things I am excited about:

I am officially down 30 pounds now. I weighed in today and it was a genuine surprise! It feels good and I am going good on my path. I have now been free of soda at home for three months and drinking a ton of water. Eating lots of fruit at home as well. I need to do more veggies and soups from now on and start a walking regimine, but so far these minor changes in my diet have been working quite well. Imagine what would be happening if I went hardcore! Oh well. I'm going the extreme baby step route. Seems to work great for me.

I scored the Walgreens exclusive Boba Fett figure. I never really buy myself much anymore, but I got an affection for Boba Fett. So when I learned of this exclusive figure I decided to treat myself. They are quite beautiful!

Pink Floyd officially announced the release date for their new (and most likely their last) album, "The Endless River." It is coming November 10th. It mostly is 99% instrumental music, most of which was recorded for the "Division Bell" sessions in 1994. So it will feature keyboardist Rick Wright (who died in 2008), along with new material recorded by Dave and Nick. Roger Waters is not involved. Its a nice treat for a long time fan like me. A great swan song? We shall see.

In other exciting music news (for me anyway), I got a surprise U2 album this week... and for FREE! I'm sure you all have heard about it by now.

Of course, the loud bitchings of people "forced" to own the album created a large stink. But all they had to do was swipe/delete/problem solved. Meanwhile I am loving every track. So far, I'd rank it in my top 5 releases of the year in fact. What can I say? I am a fan and it was a definate treat. Sorry so many people feel otherwise. But I've ranted about this enough on my podcast recently that I won't get into it... (sigh)

Speaking of my Idiothead Morning Show Podcast (which you can subscribe to via Itunes), I am having a contest for episode #300. I am likely going to be recording it within the next two weeks. I am asking people to EMAIL ME A QUESTION RIGHT HERE to read on the show. And every person that asks a question gets entered into a drawing. And at the end of the show recording, I will draw a name and that person will win a copy of my 2014 ARTBOOK! "CAPTAIN'S LOG" Its called! So if you want a chance to win a free book, and get your question read live on the air, simply EMAIL ME A QUESTION!!! It can be about my work, my opinions on things in the world, advice, music, movies, etc. Anything really. Just ask anything and I will answer and you get an opportunity to win. HURRY! I will be recording episode #300 soon!!!

Lastly, wife is gone to Detroit for more training so I am working alone this week. She's coming back on thursday and we'll have Saturday night off together. Looking forward to it as we haven't seen each other much these last couple weeks. Gets lonely! Anyway folks, thanks for reading. Go out into the world and kick some ass!

Cheers, T

A bit of a Facelift

Hey everyone! If you notice the main page of Idiothead.com, you'll see there's been a few changes. First of all I redrew the old logo (see above) with a bit of an update. I changed all the buttons too. But the BIG change is that the ADULTS ONLY section is now gone. This is in preperation for the eventual launch of STARSLAM as a stand alone digital project somewhere down the road. For now, I have replaced that area with a link to refocus some attention on my podcasts, more specifically my IDIOTHEAD MORNING SHOW PODCAST - So there's all that.

I hope you dig the new changes. Have a great week and weekend. The wife's bday is this weekend and so I plan to stay busy and spending time with family and friends.

Many cheers, T

200th Episode of the MORNING SHOW CONTEST!

Hey folks! I've got a cool little anniversary coming up. Its the 200th Episode of my newest (and only surviving) podcast: THE IDIOTHEAD.COM MORNING SHOW!

Its been great fun to do and the emails and messages I get of support for it mean the world to me. the downloads are consistant and that means I must be doing something right! I thank everyone who listens. And if you don't and have never heard of it, You can download or stream it right HERE
-->
or better yet, subscribe and download via itunes right  HERE --- And best of all, ITS FREE!!!

Over the last 200 episodes I've told a lot of my personal stories, had guests on, did rants, reviews, did some info on things like movies, music, Trek, lists and other such things. And lots of inside info on what I am working on, how I work on it and more. Its perfect background noise and best part: Each episode only runs 10-30 minutes tops, with a couple exceptions. So its not much of a time commitment and its a nice pick me up.

I usually record these either late at night or early in the a.m. before the kids are around to prevent background noise. I always toss a bit of intro music in there and do some plugs. If you ever want info beyond what I type here on the blog, this is defintely the place!

Anyway, coming up on episode #200, I wanted to do something special. So I decided first of all: I am going to go through each project that is currently on my plate and give updates on each one. Also, I will read a chapter from each of the two books Iam working on. One is the porn store book, the other is the short story/poem collection. THEN, I want to take some listener questions. So that is where you come in. Whether you are a listener or not, I want your questions! Want to ask me something about movies, music, comics, Star Trek or anything? Maybe go deeper and ask some personal questions? Whatever comes and is good show material, I will answer it.  So get your questions answered live on the air and I will read your emailed statements on the air and give a plug for you even if you want. Just simply CLICK HERE TO EMAIL ME A QUESTION and then I will put it in the 200th episode. Or TWITTER MESSAGE me and I'll put it on as well. Just get me the questions before Friday this week. and from the people that send me a question (or many questions) no later than this Friday, I will randomly draw one of the names and send them a nice package of goodies from the Idiothead.com archives! Including: Original art, sketch cards, comics, rare comics, sketch cap and more! Only one winner will be drawn and named at the end of the episode. So get your questions in quick to enter!

I thank everyone for their support for the podcast and everything else I do. Also I want to encourage those who haven't checked it out to please subscribe, download the shows and enjoy. There's LOTS of content there for you and its all free. Imagine, me talking in your ears for hours on end! WOW! And its FREE!!!!! Holy bacon bits! Awesome!

Anyway, thanks for reading, hit me with the questions and I'll record it by this weekend. Thanks everyone.

Cheers, T
